Anybody have any idea how long the data cable can be between the cabinets and work reliably?

All I know is they say to use the cables it comes with, therefore KSU position is limited.
Not wanting to induce problems I install as shown.
I have seen Onyx and DS01 on long cables but who knows.
If you use long cables and have a problem, they would tell you to change them.
