Hi Folks,
We have an SVMi20e where the CF card seems to have failed. We lost voicemail on the system and then we tried to back up from the card, it failed mid process and now the card is unreadable either in the system or via card reader.
It is one of the older 256Mb cards.
Will the hardware read a new 4Gb card?
Is it possible to load the software onto a new blank 256Mb card?
All help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a working card you should be able to clone it to a new blank card (I used to-do this all the time with SVMi4 CF cards, and HDD's for SVMi8/16/20)
You need to make it bootable with the ROM-DOS files, so you can't just copy across.

Alas, that is the problem. Only card we have is corrupted. Are the rom-dos files available anywhere?

If anyone has a driveimage XML file of the 256Mb card they'd be willing share my way, that would be fantastic.
