We will soon move our Tadiran PBX to a different IP address in a completely different subnet. Aside from the challenges of re-addressing the IP cards and voice mail pieces, we are mostly concerned w/the endpoints.
What is the best way to re-address the phones to recognize the new CA? I realize there are several blank spots to assign a CA in the phones and we could certainly do that ahead of re-addressing the main system.
Trying to find a way to avoid touching every phone. Would be nice to assign this via DNS or DHCP options. Can this be done?
