The ESVM is built in to all the new systems. what system are you thinking of selling.

This may be better in the installers forum.
I can move if the discussion gets more technical

don't know about the US, but the tda systems are gone here. NCP and NS are current systems but the NCP will be gone soon, we only use the NS700

The ESVM is unlimited mailboxes but recoding time is 2 hours.

only one message can be left into a mailbox at one time, even if both channels are free.

DISA or AA can answer as many calls as channels available

Thanks OBT,, I have a ver 3.xx Kxtda30 ,i have been playing PBX Maintence console ,, will have to grab ESVM2 ,, i am also going to train on all the IP,SIP,VOIP, etc. i have been putting it off for a long time,, I also have couple of older panasonic VPS systems ,, i believe they are compatible with KXTDA. Thanks for your input.

The ESVM is very basic, the S stands for "Simplified". We normally only use it if someone only wants an answering machine type voicemail.

No voice mail to email option. No prompts like "press 1 to check messages, 3 to record a greeting" etc...

Like OBT, we are installing NS700's moving forward for business installs as most other systems will be disco'd.
