This is a CICS 6.0 s/w The night Service is set up to be manually activated has worked properly for years , now it wont go on , I have rebooted the system but no go If I have to replace hardware is this feature in the KSU or flash card

Before jumping at hardware, take a good look at ALL the programming.

Something changed, more likely somebody changed something.

I replied from my phone, but apparently it didn't post. So if a dupe shows up . . . my fault.

As NTlayoff suggests, do a button inquiry to see if the night service button is still a night service button.

What is the error when you do F871?

In programming under services it shows as manual and when I do f 871 it appears that the mode is set , no error codes come up

Ok so what exactly is supposed to answer when in night mode?

In case programming changed or lost:
Check that the DN of voice mail (or other device) is the same DN that is programmed in the Ring Group.

And double check that the lines in question are programmed in Service Modes.

Have gone to site and what the real issue is when it is taken off night ringing it doesn't always stay but will go back into night services Its working fine while I'm on site putting it into night ringing ,no problem

Go into services and make sure the ALL scheduled names (eve, lunch, night etc) do not have theirs set to Automatic especially if 2 of them are named "Night" and the one is the culprit.

or

Re-program F871 to another button in case the button is a tad sticky (or heavy lol).
