The customer is getting ringing with no one on the line and the system will often ring back after a call is disconnected. This happens on Loop start lines provided by the cable company.

Make sure the system software is up to date as there was issues with lcot card
Check ring detect timers there may be spikes on the line or a Emf when hanging up on the modem.
If you have a test phone do you get any chirp on the ringer
“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”

Was this resolved? We had the same issue, plus sporadic noise on the CO ports.
Thanks,

I have a similar issue on a Windstream customer that is in the country. His happened anytime a phone was picked up ahead of the KSU. Once the old system was removed I only had the problem with the fax machine line and line share device. My, sort of, fix was to set it up in a different ICG and do a delay ring. They also have problems with receiving caller ID on line 2, line 1 works fine with no issues. Never did get the CID corrected and provider says that it is not on their end. Have not had any other issues with other customers.
Do the job right the first time.
