Hi All,
I have an account that has a MICS R7 with a Nam 4.1
customer wants 8 extensions to share one mailbox, I created mailbox 700 with main extension and have 2 alternate extensions built in. those work fine but if you call the other extensions and no one answers it ends up going to the general delivery mailbox. I also tried doing a CF to ext 700 and all it does is ring 700 after 3 rings then still goes to GD Mailbox.
Any suggestions?

Is MB 700 a Hunt Group, a Guest mailbox or what? 1st thing to check is your CFB and CFNA settings.

mbox 700 is a subscriber mailbox to match extension 700. what they want is if anyone calls any of the other extensions (8 of them) to go to mailbox 700 if no one answers and not the GM box.

Will presume your answer to Mooretel is that 700 is an actual set.

How are the calls coming into these sets?

You would need to create a Hunt Group then create a mailbox using the same DN as the HG then Overflow the HG to the DN of the Vmail system.

Or
" I also tried doing a CF to ext 700 and all it does is ring 700 after 3 rings then still goes to GD Mailbox.
Any suggestions?"

This might be software dependent

But try this anyway:

Have a spare set with no human i.e. X750
Forward All Calls to Vmails DN
CFNA all other sets to X750
You might be able to Off Prem Notify Internal to a HG and add those 8 sets so all ring when a message is left based on COS settings.

or

Maybe still same issue but again try it:

Have 750 CFNA to vmail after 3 rings
Put an Answer DN key for 750 on all other sets.
