I have Axxess system version 9.115 and DB Studio 1.63. Currently, I have a few phantom extensions set up and I want to be able to forward those to outside lines remotely, if needed.
I am able to dial in and reprogram the phantoms but the problem is setting them to go to outside numbers. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

You would have to use one of the following:
-DISA w/remote programming feature, it works though it can be a bit tricky
- Attendant Console- works great but you have to have NAT set up properly to your IT5K or CT Gateway
- Unified Communicator- works great with same stipulation as above.

I am trying to do this with DISA. I dial in press 359, the ext, the password, #, 355 to forward all calls but it won't let me do an outside number even if I press 8 first.

Any suggestions?

Are you always forwarding to the same outside number? If so you could set up an additional phantom extension going to the outside number (such as your cell phone), then you'd just be forwarding to another internal extension from a remote programming stand point.

Yer phantom doesn't have rights to dial out on a valid trunk group. In programming go to:

System\Devices and Feature Codes\Phantoms\Specific Phantom That Is Broke\Associated Extensions\Outgoing Extension.

Make this value ARS (usually 92000) or copy the value of a working Phantom or Extension.

Another option is to set up message notification on a mailbox. This can be programmed remotely. But the caller won't be able to speak to a live person.
