Installed a new modem and I need to modify IP settings in the IP phone. I can't remember how to get into the programming of the phone. I know it was a certain key you had to hit.

You have to press and hold the MENU softkey to get to the set-up menu.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

That does not take you into the setup up for the IP address. Only to various phone functions. I need access to programming section of phone.

Actually I did get into the setup but when I hit enter for IP Address, it does not allow me to change.

Is this phone a remote extension? Does it have a valid local network IP address, if so, you can configure it with a browser if you know the current IP.
Have you made it to the Distributor Data selection in the menu, and entered the user/passcode?
