I sold my business Nov.1/16
I was able to find another job in a larger city
I was hired as a service manager, this is quite a change from a one man show to managing multiple staff, staff issues and being in the office all day.
I really enjoy the interaction with my customers which I have lost
The time clock is also tough
This company is very GOOGLE driven so I am having to learn that as well
Its been a tough transition

It is a heck of a transition. I did the same after owning my company for 20 years. It'll get better.

I can't see myself going back to work for a Company. 9 to 5 not for me any more.

Me neither. I like to say that I'm unemployable.

Well I did just the opposite, I worked for Bell and AT&T for 30 years retired from there than worked for an idiot that made very little for his efforts, sad part was I was self employed. I've since fully retired.

Best of luck to ya. Let us know how the 9 to 5 thing works out. I could never go back to that grind without losing my mind. Office politics and all that crap.....no thanks. Fortunately I'm in a position where I don't have to smile

I worked for two large corporations and learned a lot about how corporations think and work.

I worked for a small local company and learned how not to run a company.

I did the best in my own company. I count my time at the other companies as valuable, however, I would never go back to working for someone else.

When I worked for the big corporations, my Theme song was "Take This Job And Shove It."

When I worked for the small company, my Theme song was "On A Wing And A Prayer."

Working for myself, my Theme song is....Oh, wait, it changes EVERY DAY!

The first time I sold out, I went to work for the large outfit that bought it, that didn't work out too well.

The second time I sold out, I consulted for six months. Now they send me a monthly check and I rarely talk to them. They don't call, cause they don't need me anymore. call
