Hello friends. Just an update to my post MONTHS ago regarding surgery on my shoulder and the subsequent fall breaking 5 ribs and 4 vertebrae.

Still doing physical therapy twice a week and getting better. I have been released for 'light duty' (as if there is such a thing in this trade).

My wife helped in carrying my camera bag up to the top of Neahkahnie Mountain. The path is classified as moderate to the established view point, however, to climb to the peak is classified as treacherous.
The climb down took 55 minutes and I carried my camera bag all the way!

So I had surgery two weeks ago on my other shoulder and today was my first session of Physical Therapy.
I'm not saying PT was ruff today, but if I could bark PETA would be outside the office protesting.

Glad you are doing better, I guess I missed the story about the fall, was it a skate board accident going down a steep mountain road?

A year ago I had surgery to repair a full rotator cuff tear in my right shoulder. On the morning I was to get the sutures removed I was in the bathroom thinking about going downstairs to make coffee and the next I am outside on a gurney being wheeled to an ambulance. I fell down a flight of 14 stairs resulting in fracturing five ribs and four vertebrae...Nine days in Acute Trauma.

Nine months later my car was the meat of a motor vehicle accident: totalled.

March 13th I went in for surgery to repair a full tear in my left shoulder rotator cuff...two weeks before surgery my wife's truck was totalled by a hit-and-run driver. She is physically fine. But she really misses her 2001 Ford Ranger XLT she bought new in 2000. She needs it for her work as a Garden Maintainer. She is 5'2" and the sides of the bed of a F-150 is too high for her to lift and dump a bucket of wet leaves. So we are making due with one car....I can't drive yet.

But you know...there are many more people worse off than we are. thumbsup

Man, your luck can only get better, certainly had your share of the bad. I've got a ranger, nice little pickup, I heard where they are going to start selling them in the US again.
