Hello,
I am trying to determine if it is possible to disable external voicemail access on the SL1100, or at least to set it to require that users set a pin. We have found that some users aren't setting a pin code and this is making their voicemail easily accessible by anyone on the outside.
Thanks

By default there is no password. When the user sets up the mailbox to set the password they can set it for remote login.
You can also go to 47-02-25 and set it to always or Remote but they still need to set up a password.

Are there any settings to make it so that you can only listen to voicemail internally? It would be my preference to just disable the external checking altogether.

Go into DAT and disable # Do you know what menu this would be in? I believe I found what you were referencing, I made the change to 47-13 and it appears to have fixed it for me. If you think there are some other areas I should look please let me know. THANK YOU, your info helped me find where to make the change.
