Hello all,

I have a situation where we sometimes need to hand a customer our phone to have a conversation over the phone. The person they are speaking to, needs us and the customer on the phone so I am trying to determine a good way to have two Handsets hooked up to the NEC SL1100.

Alternatively, these particular phones do have headsets connected as well (Plantronics) but I cannot seem to find where to have audio\mic go to both the handset and headset. When we engage headset it disconnects the handset.

So, I was thinking of buying and additional handset and using a splitter. Wanted to check if anyone has done similar and had thoughts.

https://a.co/83Fcec4 - this would be the additional Handset I purchase, nothing special

https://a.co/0WbK7pi - this is the "training" splitter

Thanks!!

Just add another phone where the customer can reach it. Single line set is ok. When you need the customer on the call with you, make an internal conference call to the single line set. When the single line rings, tell customer to answer it. Everybody can talk.

Any analog phone will work right? I don't need anything special?

Your idea sounds like a great solution, here is the phone I intend to use.
