I haven't touched a key system in over 10 years so I'm rusty (use to be all I did). Now the Voip world has flushed all that from my brain. But, I'm trying to help out my brother sort out two issues at his office.
1) I have a 28d model and all phones in the office have the top 5 keys programmed as the direct select trunk keys (Key 1 programmed for DT701, Key 2 DT702, etc through key 5) I verified this by checking the configs of other working phones in the office.
When I go to the phone in question and go into option 107 and scroll to key 2 it says "NONE". How do I add the DT702 key to that phone so it has access to latch that outgoing trunk?
2) Got 2 28d phones (station 203 & 204). All other phones can call each other direct by entering the station number but when ever these two are called it say's Unavailable. What call out button or feature do I need to add?

1) To program a key as a DT or direct trunk key you need access to the tech level programming which you will need a password for then assign the key as a DT key with a subcode of 702 for line
2) You need to assign a CAL key to those phones that can't be called The message you are getting is UNAVAIL CBT
