Beginning on Monday February 5th 2018, this next chapter in Dean’s Guess the Phrase contest will kick off.

The contest, which is open to all general members and site moderators, will be grouped into four rounds. Each round will contain twenty-five puzzles. The winner at the end of each round (the person with the most correct guesses) will get to select one prize from the following:

Gift Cards:
A $10 gift card to Panera Bread
A $10 gift card to Starbucks
A $10 Amazon gift card

Discounted VoIP repairs:
$65 for one repair

Discounted analog phone repairs:
$30 for one repair

At the end of the contest, the member with the most number of rounds won will be able to choose one prize from the following:

Gift Cards:
A $15 gift card to Panera Bread
A $15 gift card to Starbucks
A $15 Amazon gift card

Site Advertising:
Ad spots - 29 spots -728x90 banner ads in rotation throughout the site for 3 months a $3000 value.
Ad spot - 1-300x150 banner ad on front page 3 months a $3000 value.
Ad spot - 1- 728x90 banner ads manufacture chose rotation 3 months a $900 value.
Banner Ad's also included for the design at no charge or member can provide one.

In the event of a tie, a single playoff puzzle will be used to determine the overall winner.
Employees of Usedphones and site Admins are not eligible to participate.

With all of that out of the way…Good luck to all contestants!

I will be posting an image that will contain Letters, Numbers or Symbols [or whatever…]
and each image when resolved will be a common word, phrase or title (Movie, Book…).

The image may not contain every word in the phrase, for example:




The image could be interpreted as “Holding Bird in Hand Equals Two Birds in Bushes”,
while accurate, it is not as common as the correct answer: “A Bird in the Hand is Worth Two in the Bush”.

Conjunctions: ‘and’, ‘because’, ‘but’, ‘for’, ‘if’, ‘or’, and ‘when’ probably won’t appear in the image.
Other parts of phrases may also not appear: Prepositions, Determiners, or Pronouns…. {English Major, remember?}

Their will be one "Phrase" per day and posts will not be at the same time every day.
