Are there any other DSS consoles that work on the Merlin Legend beside the standard MLX-DSS that plugs into the MLX020 and the ATL Console? I know sometimes other models work unofficially because they are aliased as a supported one.
I notice on ebay some of the consoles are labelled as Merlin DSS, such as the "Lucent 26A1-B-003 Direct Ext. Selector Console (DSS)" or "AT&T 26A Direct Extension Selector Console 26A1-A-003 RF Lucent Avaya Merlin DSS" and similar ones that look like they came from a System 75, 85 or Definity.
Thanks for checking!

I'm pretty sure that Definity hardware can't be used on a Merlin system with the exception of an SLT. I would stick with the MLX and ATL DSS units.

Depending on the cards in the system, tommy is correct.

I notice that the Merlin Magix has a DSS too (Merlin Magix DSS Console 4450), styled differently. Any idea if the MLX-20 will support this? Thanks!

No - 4450 DSS works with 4424D+ or 4424Ld+ only (and must connect to a Magix on a TDL station port)
