We got a couple restaurants here in Buffalo, that specialize in meatballs. Is this a great country or what?

Ha! As I'm sitting here eating a meatball wedge for lunch. And they are MY meatballs too. The best!

OK, here's a heavier topic: Pizza games.
I don't care which pizza place it is, local place or national chain, you're not going to get anything delivered for less than $17.00, period. I've tried for years. Any specials they have will always bring your delivered total to $17.00. Their minimum $10.00 charge for delivery will force your total to $17.00. No matter what, after tax, delivery fee, this fee, that fee and whatever else, you're going to spend $17.00.
On a similar note: They will NEVER help you purchase the best deal. My sister was coming through town tonight with her three kids and offered to order some food from Papa John's. I offered to pick it up, not having any idea what she had ordered. She paid over the phone with her credit card. I showed up and the cashier tried to shake me down for an extra $18.00. This was in addition to the $54.00 that my sister had already paid. Since when does a restaurant only put part of your order on the card? When I questioned them, they immediately became numb and couldn't answer me as to why our order went from $54.00 to $72.00.
She, not knowing any better, just ordered one pizza this way, one pizza that way, one order of wings and one order of bread sticks. Of course, there were all kinds of great combination specials to be had, certainly one or more of them that would have fit her order. But of course not. They charged her full ala-carte menu prices for each item. I took the food and told them to Fark off for the remaining $18.00 that they were obviously trying to pocket.
When I got home, I went on their web site and tallied up the same order, which came out to $53.94, which is exactly what she had paid. This also proved that they were just trying to get another $18.00 for nothing. While on their web site, I saw that they had a family special, which came with everything we ordered, plus a 2-liter bottle of soda, for $34.95. So let me get this straight: They sold less than the same thing for $20.00 more and tried to scam another $18.00.
My sister tried to call them to discuss this with the manager, and she got place on eternal hold. Shocker.
Five people eating and an attempted $72.00 total = $14.40 per person. Had they delivered it, guess what the per-person cost would have been? $15.00. Surprise! They sure tried to get their $17.00 though. Somehow, in a strange way, I feel as if I outwitted them in their game tonight.
