Customer with a PRI provided by local cable provider.
PRI will go down doesn't show down on 9100 but if you unplug the PRI cable and replace it with a straight through cable get the red alarm on the PRI MTA from the carrier and then plug back in the crossover T1 cable comes right back up and all is good for what appears to be around 24 hrs it has done this several times. Carriers says they see CRC errors but no SLIPS/.
Have the same setup with another client right down the road and have never had an issue in the 4 years it was installed. This was fresh installed 3 days ago.
TIA, Gary

My opinion Gary it's the carrier. The SV8100 and 9100 are rock solid, all issues pertaining to what you describe has always been in my past experience the carrier's problem. Catching them with the smoking gun is the tricky part.

I would check clocking. They should be set to send you clock but I have seen it the other way before. Verify the PRI settings with carrier and the system too. Should be NI2 and B8ZS. Check the cable as well.
