I removed a stse from a long time customer who chose comcast voip. Never ask me for a upgrade system, found out the recpts boy friend is in comcast sales. Anyhow i brought the ksu back home thinking to hang it on my test bench to test phones, cards etc. But now no syn, yep dead battery. After much frustration the battery soldiered in and working. Anyone have any insight how to better replace the battery without shipping it out.???
Thanks Gary S.
ps, customer not happy with comcast. haha.

Gary, I usually just go to Batteries Plus for the battery with leads or order them from Amazon. In the past, Batteries Plus would actually do it for free if I brought in the KSU. Otherwise, I just snip off the old battery and solder the new leads to the remaining posts.
