I'm in the process of installing 42 VoIP phones on a new Summit 800. The phones are vip-9830 and vip-9820. Is there a cheat sheet, or any documents out there? I am sure that I may have network issues. But I have no ammo to take to the IT guy. I'm 99.976% sure it's his problem. But gotta prove it.
Thanks!

The training flash drive provided by Vertical four years ago has voip configuration setup for voip phones and system networking. It may not be completely up to date but still very useful.

Thanks Derrick.
I do have the flash drive, I had forgotten what all was on there.
We have the network issues straightened out now, and all but 12 phones are up and running.
Those 12 were installed during the network problems.
All that I need now is a way to reset them to Factory Default. I'm sure they will come up.
You can default a profile, but that does not go back to factory settings.

There has to be a way to get to Factory Default.

Vertical should help with that. Its some key you have to have pressed as the phone boots up. Its been a while since I have to do it

Solved.
The only real problem that I had, was PGM 235. It only lets you input 5 MAC addresses at a time. You have to wait for those five to come up before you add more to the table. When a phone comes up, it disappears from PGM 235. Sorta confusing. But it is that simple. Input MAC in 235, plug in the phone, answer 2 for Summit, and 7 for yes. It will come right up after a few minutes.
CAUTION: do not answer 1 for Wave, if you are on a Summit. The phone will have to go to Vertical to be restored to Factory Default.
