Hi folks,
I have a 7100 running 4.99. behind a Synology RT1900ac. We are trying to get a SIP line working on it It registers just fine but the call quality on incoming calls is crap. The caller hears them just fine but the folks on the phone system hear bad static.
Any ideas?
I'm not very familiar with troubleshooting actual network connectivity using wireshark.
Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the router may think the high number of incoming UDP packets for the VoIP conversation is a Denial of Service (DOS) attack and is blocking them.
I've seen this on netgear routers. Didn't know synology made routers.
Also turning off SIP ALG wouldn't hurt as most routers implementation of this is causes more issues then it solves.

The Synology doesn't have a SIP ALG setting but seems to lump it in with packed inspection.
I'm starting to think it may actually be a bad processor on the 7100. Just started another thread because it's evolved in a different direction.
