New SL2100. I usually use a DSS key with *11 on it for paging. This gets me combined page to zone 1. It has worked for me at other installs, but today I'm getting a "Busy" message when used.
If I use the Page softkey, select Ext Page and zone 1, it pages out just fine.
What makes a page zone 'busy'?
Thanks. Jim

Dean, it's a busy signal, and the display also says Busy. My group settings are same as other sites I have with paging. Thanks Coral Tech.
Found the problem. I was testing with only one digital phone connected and my butt set on the page out terminals. Once I connected a second digital phone, it all worked as expected. *11 is combined page to zone 1. With only one digital set connected, and I'm using that set to originate the page, there isn't any other digital sets to send a combined page to, so it says it's "Busy". Using the Page softkey and selecting Ext page, of course works ok.
Hope that made sense. Thanks for the support guys. Jim
