My SL2100 customer with one remote IP phone has had this happen to him a couple of times over the past 6 weeks. When he leaves his office, he call forwards his IP phone to his cell number. The main office will take a call, transfer to his IP extension, which then call forwards out to his cell. This of course ties up two lines. Usually when he hangs up, the lines are released. Once in a while they stay in use. The only way to knock them out is to reboot the system.

Service is provided by coax. Do you think it's a provider issue that is not seeing the disconnect? Do you think transferring to a MLC extension would work better?

Thanks!
Jim

Ya, using analog lines is not a good idea.

I don't think the 2100 does twinning, does it? I'll have to look into MLC some more.

Thanks.
