Hi guys,

I just found out this morning that I have the green goo in my KSU by the card slot. I knew one of the cards had the green goo on it but not this bad.

I am thinking of using goo gone or goof off, but I am worried about the contact in the card slot then dripping trough the pins on the other side. Would it be okay do use goo gone or goof off or should I just leave it and reparable the card?

You can get into the back of the KSU and loosen the mounting screws that hold the card connector to the back plane. Then when you use the soap, or whatever chemical, the gold contacts will not be damaged.
