Hi.
When we are on the speakerphone and a new call comes in the office, a very loud, shrill tone sounds on the phone, interrupting the conversation.
Does anyone know how to eliminate that?

The stand-by first response is:
"Have you unplugged the phone and plugged it back in again?"

Set the co ring delay to four seconds, that tone is the caller id data stream screaming at you. The system needs to receive it before any phones ring. This is done in CO line programming, pgm 40 page B button 2 setting 04.
