I have received two files to add Spanish prompts to our Axxess V10. One is the license. The other the prompts. Uploading the license is easy. What I don't know is how to import the prompts. Can anyone help?

What type of Voice Mail do you have? VPU, EM, EVMC?

VPU. It appears that I would load the license and then run the "Spanish" application on VPU. Mitel keeps promising to have a tech call me, but it has been a few days now with no call.

Will I have to restart VPU after adding the prompts? That would mean an after hours install.

For installing the prompts all you have to do is to run the software on the VPU. There should be these files:
spanish10.000.exe
spanish10.000.W2
spnaish10.000.W3
spanish10.000.W4

Just run the exe file. That should be it.

P.S. Always assume that a reboot will be necessary when you are adding software to the VPU. SO you might want to do this after hours.

It took a week, but Mitel finally had a tech call me.
1. Stop Avdap
2. Backup Avdap
3. Upload license
4. Run executable (contains the files listed above)
5. Restart Avdap

It sounds too simple. Something will probably go wrong. smile
