Greetings,

I am having an odd problem with a number of extensions. They will ring when dialed but cannot be answered by picking up the receiver.
They can only be answered by hitting the SPEAKER button.

There is no dial tone heard in the receivers either.

I have swapped in a known good phone and am having the same behaviour.
I have also defaulted the offending extnensions.
This worked but only briefly. (Which is weird.)

Any help would be most appreciated.

Regards

Sounds like they're in headset mode. Try feature code 317.

I thought that defaulting the station
should clear this.

I will check this out and report back.

As I suspected the stations were not
in Headset mode.

And to add to it, they are all working
for the moment.

I had reset the system this AM to R&R a
power supply so perhaps the that helped.

Odd.
