A friend of mine just scored a UX-5000 box for his amusement. He claims to have the codes, but can't get Intramail to function.
Does it have an elegant way to tell? Is there a programming tool? How, and where, do you read the license codes? When he dials 700 it says invalid.
I'm not taking it to raise, so the quick RTFM hand holding is all I need. I have the 1000+ page manual and I don't plan on printing any of it out.

It's not programmed more than likely. If it was a working system the license codes should still be active. Just a matter of programming.
