I need help with the phantom feature on our phone system. I created the phantom and when I test it it gives me a message of: "ext 151 is not available".

I should not be getting this message the call should be going to an outside line cell phone. What am I missing. THis feature is already working with another line and everything looks the same. :bang:

I have to get this working today if possible. Any help would be appreciated.

System version?

How are you testing, via intercom or from an outside line?

be very careful and turn on, on line monitor. expand the phantom that works and the one that doesn't I think you will see some forward info (not system forward) and you will find your issue

I testing it through the application it self in this case is 2510 so I dial it as if I am an outside called I then get the dept options press 2 for .. and so on. When I press the the # I need it gives me the "ext 151 is not available" although I have an ext 150 that is setup the same way and it works using this method.

I did that as well and everything looks the same except for the number that is to be dialed.

Try making it an Ext ID and remove the announcement from it. You are getting the message because it has transfer announce turned on and it is in DND. Try that and I think you will be fine

under voicemail/devices/extension ID's right click on the screen - create - phantom choose 151 now on the left side of the screen you can choose 151 under Ext ID's and on the right you will see some announcement options turn them off and test
