I have a automatic night mode switching with 1 group, 3 modes and 5 patterns. Is it possible for the customer to dial in as an administrator and change the modes or patterns? The override mailbox appears to only work for a manual night mode setting..

FYI: override mailbox has nothing to do with mode settings, it just overrides the normal business hours instructional mailboxes used for company greetings.
