Voicemail to email gateway seems to have stopped working on my Samsung 7200s
Using Office 365 SMTP and getting the following

NOTICE - MIME Message 00001D6A, Time: 31.99s, Voice Size: 168156, Fax Size: 0
WARNING - SMTP LOGIN Authentication Failed with Server smtp.office365.com:587
ERROR - SMTP _TlsRead from Server smtp.office365.com:587 Failed : 5, error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0)
NOTICE - SMTP Message 00001D6A, Time: 6.76s, Retry after 600s

Any idea what version of TLS we have on our systems

This one is Ver 4.99 7200S

It's the old one. If the IT folks you deal with are on the ball, you can ask them to set up an smtp relay. They have to do that for machines that scan to email too.

The alternative is to find a local ISP that doesn't use the new TLS protocol, but is still authenticated. Might cost a few bucks a month, but it's cheaper than a new PBX.

If you use a gmail account with allowing less secure apps. You can work around this. Otherwise you need TLS 1.0 or 1.1

Thanks guys

Interesting part is that I can use Gmail with less secure and it works for a 7100 with 4.95 but not on a 7200s with 4.99

I have used Gmail on systems with 5.xx and it works for me. Both 7100 7200s and SVMi 20i

Do you have a DNS server address specified for the 7200s? That's what I usually forget...

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

Well, the problem was that google was blocking this NEW device. I had to approve it and a couple days later it started working.

NOW the problem is that Gmail has sent notice that this Less secure service will probably end on May 30 Tick tick tick.

You'll have to setup a local relay or use the internet providers smtp server

i ran into this issue as well. The IT company needs to enable legacy tls/ssl on the client account. That fixed the issue with me for anyone that was using office365
