This problem is a real pain for us because we have no idea what is causing it. Recently when calls come into one of our offices, the caller states that they were trying to reach another office. Then, a few seconds into the call, a third party picks up the line and states that it is the office the caller was originally dialing. Points: 1. Both offices not only have totally separate numbers, they are in different cities approximately 40 miles apart. Same area code. 2. Although the caller is dialing the correct number for one office, they are getting the other. 3. There is no connection, telco or otherwise, between these two offices. 4. All three parties can hear each other on the line. 5. The systems are very different. The called office is a 5.3 and the office picking up is a 9.1. Any ideas?
