I've held out with my old trusty XP laptop as long as possible but finally broke down and ordered a new one. I had them put Windows 7 Pro on it which I heard has an XP emulator.
Anything I should know or any tips as far as getting all of the DB Programming software reloaded? Any compatibility issues? Do I have to run them in the XP emulator? Will Windows 7 load all versions from 1-11 Axxess and 1-5 5000?
TIA.

I haven't had any problems with Windows7 and DB Studio 8.xxx on it. Seeing that is ancient enough, I wouldn't expect any problems either backwards or forwards.
As you said, there's always the hyper-V winxp VM if you really need it, but I have not had to with my limited experience.
