I am trying to integrate some 12 btn phones on a partner system with 18 btn phones. Without an overlay I can not find some line positions to have these lines show up on these phones. Is there an overlay? Is there a way to program lines? I have 7 lines, and it only shows 5 on the 12 btn units, but with a 18 btn unit it shows all 7.

What kind of phone are you programming with , and do you have a manual? If so you can find a picture of the overlays in the manual. Then go to Line Assignments. If you don't have a manual e-mail me and I'll help you get it going.

You might need to clear some of those buttons with lights on the 12 button sets. Go to feature button programming at each set.
