Need to add paging to system, Can this be accomplished by using the page output or is the PagePac Module needed.
Will connect to a Rolls MA 1705 70v Amp.
Any suggestions?

Thx
Mike

no pagpac needed, not familiar with your amp, but usually no other parts are needed.

No you don't have to use PagePac.

The page out is on the two center pins (4&5) of the page jack. Make up a cable with a plug on one end and an RCA plug on the other (no need to observe any polarity). Plug it into the page jack on the ACS and the RCA into a line level input on the Rolls amp. Looks like you should use source 1 and set the dip switch to priority for that input. This way when you page the other (music) sources will duck (mute).

Thanks all for the help, and Hal if your still out there...the Amp is about 250 feet away from the ksu,I believe there is a 25pr cable in the amp area, do I need to double up to 2 pairs or is the current draw low enough to ue a single pair? And by the way the Amp is tied into a FM receiver and has a paging Mic at the AMP. They just need to page from any phone.
Thx
Mike

No need to parallel pairs, there is no current involved only audio. Only thing I would be concerned about is hum pickup on that long line. I've done exactly this several times only with ~100' runs. No problem so give it a try. If it doesn't work let me know.

You may have to rearrange the inputs on the amp so you use "source 1" as your page input to provide ducking. Put the FM on "source 2 or 3". The mic should be on the "mic 2" input which will provide ducking also.
