We currently us Auto Attendant 1 during the day, one of the prompts is to press 0 for the operator. What I would like to have happen is after 5 rings the system should go to the General Voice Mailbox which is extension 110. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

Please complete your profile.

Does Ext. 110 have a mailbox? And you would prefer the calls end up in mailbox 9991 instead of 110? If you have Merlin Messaging R3 or R4, you could sacrifice mailbox 110 as a personal mailbox, change it to a phantom mailbox with 9991 as the destination.

Or, simply change the outgoing message on 110 to be the same as 9991, change the night timeout/dial-0 to record a message in mailbox 110, and teach users to check 110 instead of 9991.

If you do this, you might want to make a an adjunct with a mailbox and a primary coverage button on 110 for that user.
