I am having trouble with a Partner ACS 509 processor and a Partner VS mail. When any extension has DND enabled, calls transferred from the AA to an extension will not forward to the user's mailbox. They will instead receive a second factory call transfer message and transfer to extension 10. When any extension does not have DND enabled, calls transferred from the AA to an extension ring first, then forward to that extension's mailbox correctly. I have never had this problem before with any previous Partner processor or VM system. Please advise how to resolve.

Yes. Search the archives. It is a known problem with compatability of ACS R7 and VS Mail.

There is a patch available for VS Mail Release 5 (only). I understand the catch is the patch is on a PC card that gets uploaded from the PROCESSOR to the VS Mail, but it requires an R6 processor to install. Then you can put the VS mail back into the R7 system.

Contact your technicial services organization for details.
