I'm looking for pinout info for the external speaker jack on AVAYA 8400 series phone sets. I have a radio station customer that wants to disable the ringer while the Microphones are live on the air. Because the ringer is heard over the speaker, the previous tech installed a relay inline with the speaker wires to cut out the speaker while the "on air" is active. While this is simple and effective, I was looking for a less invasive method. This phone gets a lot of use, and any time the set is replaced, I would have to go in and install this relay.
The phone has an extra RJ-45 jack with a speaker icon on it. I would expect that connecting an external speaker would disable the internal one. Thus, if I had some info on the speaker connector, I should be able to disable it from this jack.
Any info is appreciated!

That is for a speaker phone adjunct, not a speaker. What Definity? Sounds like you need an Avaya tech to come in and program a do not disturb button rather than hacking stuff up yourselves.
Edit: I looked at the documentation.
