What am I missing?
According to the book I have, if an incoming line has caller ID, then it should transfer to a system phone right?
Well it's not. Even with a display phone plugged directly into the port on the system. I am missing something, but a read of the book is no help.

Anybody think of something?
Thanks

The phone has to ring. Also, the CID info is transmitted after the second CO ring so if you have an AA pick up before that you won't get it.
I assume that you have confirmed that CID is being sent on the line from the telco.

Hmm,
I made the ASSumption that because the owner of the line said it ID'd, that it actually ID'd.
I think I'll go check.
thanks
