Guys, below is a problem I'm having with a customer. When a 7 digit (local) number is dialled the system is injecting XXX (area code) and this is not required or desired. The national CPN prefix is not set in system parameters features, and there is no inserted digits on the route pattern. Anyone have any ideas where else I can check to stop this ?

The "list ars route xxxxxxx" will give you the route pattern. You could also do like liquidVW is saying and "change ars dig 1" then place the 10 digit number there and strip it to a 7 digit number.

Ars digit conversion isn't it. But everyone should have all thier DID's in this table. It prevents users from dialing from station to station via ARS and a toll call. But whiel we are looking at your programming, the way your routing 911 is very odd. When was the last time you tested it?

Like Mikeydidit said, show us the route.

Does your route pattern have a prefix mark of 4? If it does, it will always go out as a 10 digit call, inserting the NPA from the route pattern or the location preference. Looks like a 7 digit local call. Try a prefix mark of 1 instead.
