I had a customer call me the other day stating his processor failed. I went onsite and sure enough it was dead. Sticker said R6.1 v11. I only had an R3, R7, or Magix R2 in stock. I put in the R7 and the R3 and tried to restore, no luck. Error says first change programing port to extension. Everything I tried did not work. I do not have the flash upgrade for this version. I tried to reload one of my orange cards with this version, but would not take. I have the eflash tools and all versions of release, just not successful at reloading any cards. It fails the verification process. Any ideas on that? Anyway, I got them running in a basic default mode. I want to avoid reprogramming the whole system as it also has a DuVoice voice mail attached that has no documentation for. This was supposed to be one of those quick fixes! If I have to, I will start from scratch, but don't want to. Time is clicking though. Any ideas?

Press f10 twice when it says incompatible releases - if it gets that far.

If system comes up do board renumbering but disconnect ML-20 phone from the port first.

You can only restore an R6 backup file to another R6 processor. If you have saved your customer's programming to your PC anytime recently, WinSPM will convert the file to load into an R7 or a Magix.
Sounds like you need to source an R6 processor, or start over from scratch. The DuVoice should program just like an Avaya voice mail to the LegenD.

I guess I am stuck rebuilding! Hard to find a processor that is exact. I do not have backup in SPM. This was a customer that called me blind when the processor failed. Thanks guys!

I would attempt to do a conversion (as Tom suggested) long before attempting to reprogram the whole thing from scratch.
DuVoice may be unfamiliar to you, but it isn't complicated. PM me if you're having any troubles with it after your rebuild. I'm more than happy to help with that piece as well.
