I am having trouble getting the Caller ID to work. The customer has added caller to 5 lines that are DID numbers for 5 users. We upgraded to the 206EC cards and all of the lines and sets are on these newer cards. There are two cabinets and the lines and sets are are spread around the 2 cabinets.
Two of the numbers are providing caller ID and the other 3 are not. There are working and non-working lines/sets on the 4 different cards. I cannot find anything that the working or non-working have in common. They are all using the same style of phone. There are no restrictions, #302 on any of the sets.
I have swapped a good line with a bad line and the caller ID works on neither phone at that point. Does anyone have any ideas for me? Please and thank you.

Are you sure that you are getting caller id from the LEC? I always carry a little stand alone unit to test with. Am I correct in understanding that you rolled one of the lines that does not work with one of the lines that does and you get no caller id? Also what exactly are you using for lines? The partner II does not have DID capabilities.

I have my contact checking with the LEC on the caller ID again. I did not have an analog display set with me so no, I was not able to verify caller ID before the phone system. Yes, I did roll one of the lines that works with one that doesn't and did not get caller ID. Lines are 1FB. I probably did not use the best word. Individuals have their own number for incoming and outgoing calls. This is their prime line and should have caller ID. Two are working great. Three are not.
Thank you!!!

If the line that provides caller ID works on any line position in the system then your provider doesn't provide caller ID for those lines that are not working. If the same good line works on some position but doesn't on other then you have a Programming issue or defective 206EC card.

I had a card labeled 206EC but it was behaving like a 206E. Replaced the card and it worked! Thanks for the help.
