Have a 2.0 in which I have set up a calling group. Everything works fine (in a test set up), but I cannot figure out how to assign a supervisor to the group using a DLC. Have searched this forum and Avaya and read the instructions, but I missed something. ??

There are 2 things required to make this work.

First, the extension you want to be the Supervisor MUST BE AN OPERATOR extension.

Then, using Standard SPM it must be assigned under EXT STATUS.

Menu > Start > Extensions > More > Ext Status

After those requirements are met it can do the Supervisor function.

Thank you ! Was not using an operator extension. Now if I can just find an AUX device cable.

They are called a "D8AP" Cord, and you can make one with a lot of effort by cutting/grinding away one side of a regular mounting cord (D8W).

Thanks for info on cord, I had hoped we had one laying sround. Another problem has shown up. The supervisor is getting incoming calls. The main number, on a PRI, is steered to extension 100. The supervisor/operator is getting some kind of overflow ? Have not taken a look at it yet.
