How do I load wav files into IPO 500 for hold music? I found the cool files they have online and am trying to get them into the system.

We put MOH wav files on the dedicated VM server along with "log me in".

Only a 30 second file, that will loop. It must be a specific bit rate. You must also set the parameter in manager and reboot.

R5 and R6 can have a 90 second .wav file uploaded. Earlier releases have limit of 30 seconds) HAS to be the following: 128kbps 16 bit mono 8khz pcm
If you have that, then rename it, "holdmusic.wav" and put it in the manager directory. As long as you have the MOH set for internal.wav file, it will grab it and upload, then play. You can watch your tftp server to see if the file transfers.

Or I could go old school and record files to disk and then use external player. Then I can loop the recordings and have no time limit.

Yup, that's what the audio input jack is for.
