have a customer with a ip400 rel 1, we added a new 30 digital station mod to the system. It sees the card, you can program it, but when you plug in a 4412d phone all you get is the message light flashing. Any thoughts...

Run the upgrade wizard, it will tell you if it needs to be.

ok, more info. The processor is a 406 ver 3.2, the other cards are all ver 5.2, the new card is ver 6.2 so I think the sofeware is current enough. I did notice in system programming that the new card is not registering. It showed up on the list when we put it in, but since that time their in house IT/phone guy changed something. Now he is on vacation and no one knows the password to get in. He's in Maui, I hope the tsunami didn't get him.

got the password, ran the upgrade wizard. In this case a downgrade, it set the version back to 5.2 and all is well.
