Anyone know of a unit that can be put on a regular line (pots) to see number of calls made and number of calls received. Thanks

find a mitel smart 1 dialer this will give you output to a printer which will show
nunber dialed, cant remember how it does on incomeing .still see these in hanging on walls in telcom rooms they were used to divert ld calls to other carriers.

Mike Sandman has a product called "Whooz Calling" that does that kind of stuff.

Thanks all, spoke to Viking and M. Sandman, neither makes a product that hooks up to a plain old line. As per Sandman has to interface with SMDR port, and Viking doesn't have anything like that, again thanks for the help.

a mitel smart 1 dialer can show incoming calls but it will NOT show the callerid (if it was sent). it will show duration, date, time

on outgoing calls it will show the number dialed, duration, etc. and can be connected to uo to 4 lines (depending on if you get a 1,2,or 4 line unit). and it will ONLY connect to regular lines.

forgot to mention that they all have a serial port (for smdr) that could be hooked up to a pc to capture the data
