I know we have all looked at using this group for leads. Any success using them lately?

Totally worthless. My opinion...YMMV.

Yep....looked at it...then quickly looked away and never looked back. worthless site for what they claim.

You'd be better off using that money to get your site up in the search results. That way customers will find you instead you knocking on every door.

I tried Loser Zone and Wheelhouse. I don't remember which was worse...I think it was a tie.

Loser Zone claims they send out 5 emails per lead, so either the customer was lying or the leads were being shared. The customers just had a pulse and a mouse. I don't think there was any other qualification and they got tired of getting so many calls.

In Wheelhouse, the leads were "qualified". "yeah, I think I might need one of them there IP phone systems for the next Millenium". WH claimed if you "work your leads" you'll get a sale. If I can't close by the 3rd call on a 10 phone or less system, it's not likely I ever will. And, oh yeah, house rule, unless your place is really special? It looks like the hundreds of others I've seen, I"m not spending a half day driving across the state to see your run-of-the-mill office that already has phones.

Used to be a great service now it's worthless IMHO. You end up having to contest 8 out of 10 leads cause it's NOT a lead.

BZ works for me, last year they gave me over 400k in business, forget about the mac work and referrals, been a vendor for 5 years, there service is priceless.

Took me 12 months to figure out how to make this work, in the beginning, I was ready to throw throw the towel in.
What I found was people that inquire (for the most part) will be buying, some right away, some a year from now, or some never. It does work and it is way cheap!!!!!!!!!
You need to handle these leads a specific way, much different than most our accustomed to.

I bet most that can't make this work are also those that are in denial about IP systems smile

Also there is a knack to get credits for the BS leads (competitors)

Don't ask me how I have made this successful, I will not share that for obvious reasons.

PS
My 400k in sales, cost me $4,200 from BZ last year.
10 years ago, advertising in Newsday (local big paper) cost me 12k a year, best case in 10 years, I broke even.

Test Ok, sent you another email, need you dude.

Also, Wendover, or as I would like to call them... " Bendover" maybe something I may revisit. Reason I say that is now I get how to pursue these leads.

3 weeks since I joined and I got a lead that rang a fax and no reponse to the email. I understand the credit for bad leads and looking forward to nurturing any true leads that come to me.

When I used Wendover a few years back they seemed a little lost in their efforts, worse than when I used them in the 90s.

In my neck of the woods, I was getting around 25 leads a month (average), in the last 6 months (this year) that has dropped to 15 or so (average) per month. The good news is, the leads are real. So no spinning wheels.

When I was getting the 25 leads per month, 10 were BS, but I developed a system to easily identify BS leads, so minimal time was wasted, and credits were easy because of my system.

As mentioned, I too felt the same about BZ as the posts above, what made me stick it out is that one of my major competitors was with BZ before me, and they did not surrender. I figured there has to be something to this and I need to figure it out.

I figured it out (12 months), and the results are awesome. I will admit, if your not organized, don't use outlook calender or something similar, do not create "Generic responses" you email (think copy and paste), you don't have a chance on succeeding with this.

Also, in my neck of the woods, there is a waiting list for years to get on BZ, this must say something no?

Update: Ok so I tried it for 90 days. Got about 15 leads with 4 worth nurturing. The rest will end up going to Office Depot if they need phones. I have changed over to 360 Partners to see it they are any better.
