Just want to see if im insane

I setup a serial hunt group (4799) that hunts 4741, 4721, 4711 and when dialed internally it hunts as expected

But I mapped a DID to 4799 and when an outside call comes in, it hunts 4721, 4711 and 4741

Am I missing something, or is this a bug

Change the hunt to Cir and make 3 calls to test. see if it goes to each ext 1 time. Then move it back to ser and make 3 calls. On ser it should go to ext 1 then 2 then back to 1. Also check your forwarding. Are these key or pbx stations? Are the stations trun ext numbers or varible?

Tried setting it up as a Cir .. went 1,2,3,1,2 ... 3,1,2

I had tried going Circular, Serial, Cir, Ser thinking somethine weird was going on

The lines are ONS POTS lines 4741, 4721, and 4711 (Fax machines)

Hunt Group is 4799

No forwarding is enabled on the ONS lines.

When I dial 4799 internally it goes 1,2,3,1,2,3 .. Dialing the DID mapped number (9,xxxxxx8044) went 2,3,1 every time

(I created M:47xx buttons on my phone so I could watch, since the fax machines are in seperate locations)

3 different fax machines correct. I have a client the has a Canon 2 line fax and it alternates on out bound calls.
If it were me and 1 number rang into all 3 faxes I would set it as a UCD hunt and even out the load between them. But that still doesnt answer you question I know.

Three Seperate fax machines (on three different floors).

The customer wants all Faxes to goto the 4th floor, but when the 4th floor is busy to goto another fax machines (rather than present a busy signal).

I have it working by fudging the hunt group order, but its not intutive.

Also as a "failsafe" I told the receptionist if she ever picks up a call and its a "Bleep" to forward to the hunt group, well that works different internally and I had to setup "another" hunt group for internal usage

Thinking I had over-complicated this I deleted alot of hunt configs I had created.

Total config

4711 - ONS 2,1,3
4721 - ONS 2,1,5
4741 - ONS 2,1,11

Hunt Group 4799, Serial, 4741, 4721, 4711

DID 8044 no mailbox, DR 4799, NR 4799.

Let system sit quiet 60 seconds .. dial 212-xxx-8044 .. rings 4721 first EVERY time

call me 646-325-6029 and will get you dial in info if you want..

You can shoot either SS or myself the file and we can look at it to see if we can spot something if you would like.
Don't know what happened to my last post, must have heavy fingered it. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

Check DID conversion in trunk groups. It has to be to yes for the t-1 or pri or what ever your using. If not it will wont pass the flpn or mdn or hunt groups.
