We are currently in the process of moving offices and downsizing. We need to move phone extensions and forward calls for people who are no longer here.

Questions are:

1. Is there a way to move ext without having to repunch the blocks?

2. Is there a way to forward calls from an ext that is still on the system, but has physicaly been removed?

We are running a digital key DX (BX) system Imagen version 6.00D

Hi There
Yes its possible to move extensions in programming using the F4 key on your pc but you need the pc programming software as for forwarding calls on older systems i think the extension needs to be connected to forward the calls but then can be disconnected
but im open to correction on this
cheers jd

My advice storm is to get a programmers kit and buy a hour of tech support. You will need the software level of the system. It can be found on the label on the memory cartridge mounted on the MPD card.

I agree with SS phones; don’t try moving EXT through programming (f-4) without tech support. It's not that easy.

I am a key system seller/installer, I sold a new
Tadiran to a customer and removed his Telrad Key BX 818(1996 vintage) memory version SMB3.05C.
There are two cards in the cabinet red MPD and a
ELD.Everything was working when it was removed.(No voicemail) The customer wants to reinstall it
and add voice mail. What do I need? What is the cost? What is IPEX upgrade.

SBM3 and voicemail not anymore my friend. The IPeX is the way to go, it is the processor and voicemail on 1 card. Cant quote cost on here but feel free to PM, email or call me.
