I got a couple of questions for everyone... We are implementing scheduled breaks and lunch times for all employees. They are wanting to put a pleasant audible tone over the paging system at specific times. The way I plan on doing this is through Emagen in PA Settings under Site Parameters. Is this the only way I can do this and not spend alot of money? Also is there a way of playing a pleasant audible tone without alot of rewiring. This being our only paging I think that if someone is paging at the time the audible tone is set to sound then the actual page that is active at the time takes priority and we will not hear the tone for break time. I would like to find a work around if possible.

Thanks,

We have a couple of the Valcom V2924 units with the V2928 cards for bells at several of the schools we service. Programming is simple and just connect between the paging output from the system and the horns.
Cheapest is to uses the E-magen. Ive used it in the past and it works well. just make sure the right time is on the phones.

I think the " playing a pleasant audible tone " is going to bit of a challenge using the PA settings. A recorded message sure but a pleasant audible tone?
